Programs Addressed Oversupply of Foreclosed and HUD Homes in Dearborn
February 2nd, 2011The city of Dearborn, Michigan, stepped up its efforts last year of addressing the impact of the huge number of HUD homes and foreclosed properties on neighborhoods in the area. With the help of federal funds issued through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), the city was able to purchase and renovate substandard residential properties in the region.
