Orlando is located in Orange County, Florida. Due to the turmoil in the mortgage industry, home foreclosures are on the rise in the whole state, and the Orlando foreclosures are no exception. In the year 2007, it was reported that more than 11,000 homeowners in and around Orlando were undergoing the foreclosure process, and many more were expected.
In a recent statistics revealed that in the month of March, Florida foreclosures activity had an increase of 7 percent, and in June the increase was of 8 percent. If compared with the previous year March 2007, the March activity was 112 percent ahead of it. The foreclosure activity reported in June this year was also 92 percent above the stats revealed in June 2007.
The foreclosed properties of Florida foreclosures in the Orange County were rated as the fourth highest in the state’s foreclosure rate in the month of March this year. It was reported that one in every 204 household received a foreclosed filing in the Orange County.
The foreclosure statistics also stated that the high foreclosure activity rate in the state of Florida makes it a major contributor in the nation’s foreclosure rates.
All the above-mentioned relevant stats indicate that there is a continuous rise in Florida foreclosure rates. The presence of lower home sales volume and home price reductions has left no possible option for the distressed homeowners. In order to pacify the owners from further losses, a newly developed Orlando foreclosure scenario now gives the buyers an opportunity to sell properties via real estate auctions. We all know that finding or selling a property or HUD foreclosures, is a tedious and time-consuming job. But if you have a foreclosure listing then the job would be much easier!
