Foreclosure Crisis Causing Domestic Violence

But recent reports had shown that the foreclosure crisis is not only causing people to lose their homes, but also their marriages and their families. The devastation trend starts when the owners cannot afford to their mortgages and starts taking their frustrations on each other.
Counselors are saying that more and more people are mentioning problems related to money and mortgages, and the abuse usually starts due to the high mortgage payments. The women center in Stockton says that since august its domestic violence cases went up by 12% and the majority occurred on families that are losing their homes trough house foreclosure.
